  1. Identify Nebraska’s requirements for and limitations of using medication aides and unlicensed staff persons to provide assisted living care
  2. Design regulatory compliant assisted living policies and procedures for medication aides and unlicensed staff persons
  3. Understand the importance of oversight and regular competency demonstration for medication aides and unlicensed staff persons in care delivery
  4. Discuss common challenges in providing assisted living care and practical solutions and best practices.

Audience: This program is appropriate for administrators, owners, directors, directors of nursing, nurses, and team leaders in assisted living communities.
