Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Policy for NNFA/NALA Education

PRE-REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration at the door will be accepted only if space permits. An invoice will be emailed. If you wish to confirm your registration, call the NNFA/NALA office (402-435-3551).

SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions are accepted until the event begins. Substitutions are not possible once the event has started.

CANCELLATIONS
There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations within two (2) business days of the event. Cancellations must be received in the NNFA/NALA office within that time frame, except in the case of a death in the registrant’s immediate family – mother, father, husband, wife, brother, sister, or child.

REFUND POLICY
Registration fees will be credited/refunded minus a $15 per-person per-event-day SERVICE CHARGE for cancellations received in the NNFA/NALA office by the close of business on or before the above cancellation date. If attendance at an education event is interrupted by a State survey or inspection, a registration refund can be issued for the unused portion of the event. If you are unable to attend an event because of survey or inspection, a full refund can be issued. Written requests for refunds due to survey/inspection and written proof of the survey/inspection are required within 30 days of the education event’s start date.

Registrations must be received at least one hour prior to event. Webinar registration fees are non-refundable.

Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Policy for NHCLC Training

REFUND POLICY
Students who withdraw from courses may receive a prorated refund. Refunds shall be mailed within 30 days of official request. If the official request occurs within 72 hours of registration/enrollment, a full refund is appropriate.

The request must be in writing and postmarked within 72 hours of registration/enrollment. If official request occurs after 72 hours of registration/enrollment but before classes have begun, a $150 administrative fee is NOT refundable and all remaining costs will be refunded.

After classes have begun, a $150 administrative fee is NOT refundable and remaining costs will be refunded as follows:

Day 1 – 50 percent refund of cost after $150 administrative fee is assessed minus materials.
Day 2 – 25 percent refund of cost after $150 administrative fee is assessed minus materials.
Day 3 – no refund of cost.

After classes have begun, costs associated with course materials are nonrefundable.

ABSENTEE/MAKE-UP POLICY
In order to receive credit, participants must attend all days of the training. If a day is missed, it must be made up by attending that day the next time the training is offered. It is the responsibility of the participant to make registration arrangements for make-up days. There will be a $45 charge for each make-up day, payable by credit card, check, or money order.

Substitution, Cancellation, and Refund Policy for NHCLC Testing

REFUND POLICY
No refunds are permitted unless the student meets one of the following criteria. Refunds will only be provided if one of the following criteria is met:

  1. Took the Basic Nursing Assistant Class and did not pass
  2. Did not complete the Basic Nursing Assistant Class
  3. Previously on the Medication Aide Registry and mistakenly registered for the Medication Aide Written Test.

CANCELLATIONS
Failure to attend the assigned testing date results in automatic forfeiture of funds. If a student needs to cancel or move their assigned testing date, please contact the NHCA office (402) 435-3551 at least 24 hours prior to the start of testing.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions for NHCLC Testing are not permitted.

NHCA Product Return Policy

Any products with CDs are not returnable. All orders must be returned or postmarked within ten business days of invoice date. A restocking fee of 15 percent will be charged on all returns. All returned items must be in resalable condition. Defective items returned within 30 days of invoice date will be replaced with the same product or similar product at NHCA’s discretion.
