Content: This session will provide first-hand experience from assisted living locations on emergency events that have taken place within the last year. Information shared will include how the assisted living locations responded to the emergency situation, lessons learned, and considerations for future preparedness.

Objectives: At the completion of the training, the participant will be able to: 

  1. Understand how to respond to emergency situations
  2. Apply the information provided to their own emergency response plans
  3. Make considerations on how they would respond if facing their own emergency

Audience: This program is appropriate for administrators, owners, directors, and team leaders in assisted living communities.

Format: Virtual only. An internet connection is required. NHCA uses Zoom as the webinar platform. You may participate from any computer and most mobile devices that have internet access.
