Content: This program will provide a comprehensive understanding of litigation risks specific to long-term care and equip participants with the skills to identify potential sources of litigation; communicate and document effectively to prevent misunderstandings and reduce risks; and successfully manage crisis situations.
Objectives: At the completion of the training, the participant will have:
- Increased awareness of litigation risks specific to long-term care
- Enhanced practical skills for risk identification and crisis management
- Knowledge of practices that can reduce the likelihood of legal challenges
Audience: This program is appropriate for administrators, owners, directors, team leaders, and directors of nursing in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities.
