Content: This webinar will review changes made to the MDS Sections G and GG. This session will discuss how Section G items have been incorporated into Section GG.

Objectives: At the completion of the training, the participant will be able to: 

  1. Identify the changes to item sets in Sections G and GG of the MDS
  2. Transition from Section G to GG of the MDS
  3. Explain changes to item sets in Section GG, Functional Abilities and Goals

Audience: This program is appropriate for administrators, owners, directors, directors of nursing, MDS coordinators, nurses, social services, rehabilitation, dietary, and activities staff in skilled nursing facilities.

Format: Virtual only. An internet connection is required. NHCA uses Zoom as the webinar platform. You may participate from any computer and most mobile devices that have internet access. However, to receive full credit, you must be logged into the Zoom app through your computer or mobile device. A computer with external speakers or headset is needed; a microphone and/or webcam is required.
