Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation’s Career Pathways Advancement Project (CPAP 2.0) represents the next evolution of Vocational Rehabilitation by proactively improving the likelihood of economic self-sufficiency for individuals with disabilities. A proven Upskill/Backfill business model is used to create opportunities for former VR eligible individuals to advance their careers and open new opportunities for other VR eligible individuals. CPAP 2.0 partners with Nebraska businesses in the following career pathways: Health Science, Manufacturing, Construction, and Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics (TDL). These partnerships open training and advancement opportunities for the partners’ employees, specifically, those who contend with a hidden or physical barrier that impacts their work.
