The Director of Nursing will be responsible for all planning, scheduling & management within the Nursing Department for our Facility. This candidate must be able to provide leadership to the nursing staff while teaching and mentoring.

Read, write, speak and understand English language.  Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. 

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family  members, visitors, government agencies & the general public. 

Must be knowledgeable of nursing & medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.  Must possess leadership & supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement & interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies & procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
