What You Will Do
The Advocacy & Government Relations Coordinator will primarily assist Immanuel in executing its advocacy plan.  Primary responsibilities of this position include staying up to service as a subject matter expert and liaison with legislators and government staff federal and state levels, date on State and Federal initiatives, changing regulations, interpreting how these changes will impact Immanuel’s service lines, and working closely with internal and external users to develop Immanuel’s position on public policies.
 

Education
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Juris Doctor, J.D., degree preferred.
Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience
Four (4) years of public policy, government relations or related experience monitoring legislative and regulatory issues is preferred. 
Two (2) years of advocacy experience preferred.
Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience with increasing responsibility preferred.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
