Nebraska Health Care Foundation Receives Health of Nebraska Sponsorship

Nebraska Health Care Foundation (NHCF) was recently announced as a recipient of a Health of Nebraska sponsorship, a collaboration between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) and Combined Health Agencies Drive (CHAD) Nebraska.

The sponsorship will assist NHCF in its mission to invest in programs and initiatives designed to attract, develop, and retain Nebraskans who serve those living in a nursing home or assisted living community.

BCBSNE’s support will allow NHCF to administer the Nebraska Health Care LEAD Program, a dynamic, year-long program that creates awareness of participants’ individual strengths, immerses participants in the legislative process, and develops lasting mentee-mentor relationships. The Nebraska Health Care LEAD Program is key to shaping the future of healthcare in our state.

NHCF is grateful to CHAD Nebraska for making the sponsorship through BCBSNE possible. CHAD Nebraska is a local, donor-designation driven organization that has been the fundraising arm for Nebraska’s premier health agencies since 1972.

Nebraska Health Care Association is the parent to Nebraska Nursing Facility Association (NNFA) and Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NALA), as well as Nebraska Health Care Learning Center and Nebraska Health Care Foundation. NNFA and NALA collectively represent approximately 416 nonprofit and proprietary skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities in Nebraska.
