Objectives: At the completion of the training, the participant will be able to: 

  1. Identify and learn at least three innovative activity ideas from peer providers that can be implemented in your long-term care setting to improve resident engagement and overall well-being.
  2. Develop a plan to incorporate adaptable activity strategies into your current programming, with consideration for various resident needs and preferences.
  3. Build a network of peer providers to foster ongoing collaboration and idea-sharing, ensuring continued innovation and support in your long-term care facility's activity offerings.

Audience: This program is appropriate for owners, administrators, directors, directors of nursing, nursing, activity directors, activity staff, and direct care staff.
