Nurse Aide and Medication Aide Instructors and State Testers

A registered nurse may apply to become an instructor and state tester for nurse aide and medication aide students. A licensed practical nurse may apply to become an instructor for nurse aide and medication aide students. A minimum of 1-2 years in long-term care is required. Adjunct instructor and tester positions are available throughout Nebraska.

Nebraska Health Care Learning Center will seek instructor or state tester approval through Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Nebraska Department of Education. The approval process takes approximately 2-6 weeks.
